MasterCard Foundation Scholars program's vision is to educate and develop bright yet economically marginalized young people in Africa and developing countries who have a demonstrated “give-back” ethos and who will contribute to the transformation of the continent.

2. MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program at Arizona State University (ASU)
Arizona State University welcomed 10 undergraduate students from seven African nations in 2012, as the first class of MasterCard Foundation Scholars to begin studies at ASU.

3. MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program at Wellesley College
As part of the Scholars Program, Wellesley will provide nine (9) African women with comprehensive support that includes scholarships, mentoring, counseling, and internship opportunities for undergraduate studies.

4. MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program at Stanford University
The MasterCard Foundation education initiative at Stanford University USA will provide comprehensive support to 20 talented but economically disadvantaged students from Africa over the next eight years to gain scholarships in USA. The Scholars Program will support five (5) undergraduates from Sub-Saharan Africa each year.

5. MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program at Michigan State University (MSU)
The MasterCard Foundation has partnered with Michigan State University to provide full tuition scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students from Sub-Saharan Africa. The university will receive $45 million in funding from the foundation to support 185 scholars throughout the nine-year program, which includes 100 four-year undergraduates and 85 master’s degree students.

8. Google Lime Scholarship for Students with Disabilities:
The Google Lime Scholarship for Students with Disabilities is a scholarship program that provides students with disabilities the opportunity to obtain a degree from an accredited U.S. university.
The scholarship offers full tuition and fees and room and board. In addition, the scholarship includes a monthly stipend of $1,000. The Google Lime Scholarship for Students with Disabilities was created in honor of Google’s Lime scooters, which provide accessible transportation for people with disabilities.

8. Yale Young African Scholars Program:
The YYAS program is a scholarship program designed to encourage talented African students to pursue a career in fields such as science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
The scholarship provides full tuition and fees for two years of undergraduate study at any U.S. college or university. In addition, the program provides $25,000 per year in financial assistance for four years of graduate study at a U.S. college or university.
The YYAS scholarship is open to students who are nationals of countries in Africa, and who are not currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program or a graduate program at a U.S. college or university.
The eligibility requirements for the Yale Young African Scholars Program are:
- -You must be a national of a country in Africa.
- -You must not be currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program or a graduate program at a U.S. college or university.
- -You must have demonstrated outstanding academic performance and potential in your field of study.
- -You must be able to participate in a full-time undergraduate program or a graduate program at Yale.
- -You must be over 14 years.
9. EDSF Scholarship Program:
The Electronic Document Scholarship Foundation Program is a fully-funded scholarship awarded to undergraduate students who are interested in pursuing a career in Document Management and Graphic Communication.
Eligibility Criteria for this Scholarship program include:
- -You must be a high school senior or a current college student.
- -You must have demonstrated an interest in pursuing a career in document management.
- -You must have excellent academic records.

10. New York University Wagner Scholarships:
NYU Wagner offers a bunch of fully-funded scholarships to international students with the aim of providing financial support for them during the course of their degree. 12. Microsoft Research Graduate Women’s Scholarship Program:
The Microsoft Research Graduate Women’s Scholarship Program provides women who are currently pursuing Ph.D. in computer science, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) with financial assistance to help them continue their education. The scholarship is available to women who are residents of Canada or the United States.

The Margaret McNamara Memorial Fund (MMMF) provides grants to women from developing countries to help further their education and strengthen their leadership skills to improve the lives of women and children in developing countries. The MMMF awards grants are approximately $12,000 each.
Eligible applicants are women from developing countries currently enrolled at accredited universities in the US or Canada.

14. AAUW International Fellowship for Women
American Association of University Women – AAUW International Fellowships are awarded for full-time study or research in the United States to women who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
Applicants must have earned the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor’s degree by September 30, (previous year) and must have applied to their proposed institutions of study by the time of the application.

The Seven UP Harvard Business School Scholarship was created by Seven Up Bottling Company Plc of Nigeria to commemorate its 50th anniversary and aligns with the Company’s overall vision of creating a greener future for promising Nigerians. 18. Global Scholars Program at Clark University Scholarships
Clark University offers the Global Scholars Program which is open to High school students who are NOT permanent residents or citizens of the United States, as well as U.S. citizens/permanent residents who reside overseas and will complete their entire secondary school education outside the U.S. A scholarship of no less than $15,000 (($60,000 for four years contingent upon meeting academic standards for renewal) and a guaranteed $2,500 taxable stipend for a paid internship or research assistantship taken for academic credit during the summer following the sophomore or junior year is included with the award.
